Hangzhou Qiangdi Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Days iOS app and its widget extension (together, “Days”).
1. Scope
This Policy applies to Days and its widget extension. A separate website privacy policy may apply when you visit other pages on the Qiangdi Technology website.
2. Information Handled by Days
2.1 On-device settings
To provide daily answers, themes and layouts, reminders, and image saving, Days stores the following settings or status on your device:
- app language, home theme and layout, automatic rotation choice, and daily change time;
- reminder status and reminder time;
- onboarding completion and initial installation time;
- share image ratio and whether the date and Days mark are shown; and
- Apple-verified lifetime unlock status or yearly subscription expiration date.
This information is stored using iOS local storage and an App Group container so the app and its widget can show consistent content. Days does not require an account, and we do not upload these settings to servers operated by Qiangdi Technology.
2.2 Daily answers
Daily answers and color palettes are included with the app and selected on your device. Days does not provide reading history and does not upload your reading activity to us.
2.3 Notifications
Days requests notification permission only to enable daily reminders. iOS schedules reminders locally on your device. You can disable reminders in Days or in iOS Settings. Current reminder text does not contain personal content entered by you.
2.4 Saved images
When you tap Save to Photos, Days creates an image on your device and requests add-only Photos permission. If you grant it, Days saves the new image to your system photo library. Days does not read, browse, analyze, or upload photos already in your library. You can revoke this permission in iOS Settings.
2.5 Purchases and Subscriptions
The Days Pro yearly auto-renewing subscription and lifetime unlock are processed by the Apple App Store and StoreKit. Days reads Apple-verified product identifiers, whether a purchase is valid or revoked, and subscription expiration dates to provide and restore paid features. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide developers with sales, refund, and diagnostic reports under its policies. See the Apple Privacy Policy for details.
2.6 Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any device or issue information you choose to provide. We use it only to respond, provide support, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.
3. What We Do Not Do
The current version of Days:
- contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs;
- does not track you across apps or websites;
- does not access location, contacts, camera, microphone, health data, or existing photos in your library; it requests add-only Photos permission only when you save an image;
- has no account system and does not request your name, phone number, or government ID;
- does not upload app settings, reading status, or generated images to servers operated by us; and
- does not use CloudKit or another cloud service to sync app data.
If a future version adds any such capability, we will update this Policy before processing the relevant information and obtain any authorization required by law or Apple rules.
4. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process information only as needed to:
- perform our agreement with you and provide settings, purchase verification, and support;
- provide local notifications with your permission;
- comply with applicable law; and
- maintain app and transaction security, resolve disputes, and protect legitimate rights where necessary.
Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing.
5. Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell personal information. Days does not share core app data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.
The following Apple services may independently process information needed for their functions:
- App Store and StoreKit for downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlement verification;
- iOS notification services for permission and on-device scheduling;
- WidgetKit for on-device widgets; and
- the system photo library and PhotoKit, which save a locally generated image when you choose to do so and grant permission.
Apple is responsible for its processing.
6. Retention and Deletion
On-device settings are generally kept until you change them, reset the app, or delete Days. Saved images remain in your system photo library until you change or delete them; Days does not keep another copy in its own storage or on our servers. Deleting Days does not cancel an active subscription or erase transaction records Apple retains under law or its service terms.
We normally retain support emails until the issue and a reasonable follow-up period have ended. We may retain them longer where required for legal, financial, security, or dispute purposes. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support information we hold.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. On-device data is also protected by iOS, your device passcode, and Apple platform security. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please protect your device and Apple Account.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- change language, theme, layout, reminder, and image-saving settings in Days;
- withdraw notification or Photos permission in iOS Settings;
- delete Days to remove local app data managed by the system;
- manage or cancel subscriptions and manage purchases and refunds through your Apple Account; and
- contact us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold from support communications, or to ask questions about our processing.
Days has no user account, so there is no separate Days account to delete.
9. Children
Days is a general-audience app and is not designed to collect children’s personal information. Minors should use the app and make purchases only with a guardian’s guidance. Contact us if you believe a child sent us unnecessary personal information.
10. International Processing
Days does not send local settings to servers operated by us. Apple services and email services you choose may process information in regions where their infrastructure operates, subject to their privacy policies and your settings.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy when features, laws, or our operations change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through our website, the app, or another appropriate method, and obtain consent where required by law.
